{"id":3171,"date":"2026-06-08T18:36:11","date_gmt":"2026-06-08T18:36:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hfhpulm.com\/info\/?page_id=3171"},"modified":"2026-06-08T18:36:11","modified_gmt":"2026-06-08T18:36:11","slug":"aerify","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/hfhpulm.com\/info\/?page_id=3171","title":{"rendered":"AERIFY"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Itepekimab for COPD exacerbations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Age between 40 and 85 years old.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>BMI of 18 kg\/m<sup>2<\/sup> or above.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>COPD Diagnosis for at least 1 year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Post-BD FEV1\/FVC ratio of &lt; 70%.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Post-BD FEV1 > 20% and \u2264 80%.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Either on Triple Therapy or at least LAMA\/LABA.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>History of a chronic productive cough of at least 3 months in past year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least 2 moderate COPD exacerbations (requiring ICS) or 1 severe COPD exacerbation (requiring hospitalization) in the past 12 months.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Current or Former Smoker of 10 or more pack-years.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Signed ICF (Informed Consent Form).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">exclusion<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must not have asthma diagnosis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No other clinically significant lung diseases besides COPD (e.g., sarcoidosis of the lung, Pulmonary HTN, lung fibrosis, lung cancer, ILD, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Former cigarette smokers cannot have been using vaping or any other active smoking products within the last 6 months prior to screening.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No pneumonia, COPD exacerbation, or LRTIs within 4 weeks of screening.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No lung resection ever.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cannot be within acute phase of pulmonary rehab within 4 weeks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cannot be on greater than 2.0 L\/min oxygen therapy (no restriction on oxygen use during night time).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No other unstable and clinically significant diseases of other organ systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No presence of parasitic infection, malignancies (within past 5 years), immunodeficiencies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cannot be on any nonselective beta-1 adrenergic receptor blocker.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Patient can not have been on PDE3\/PDE4 inhibitors, macrolides, methylxanthines, cromones, in 6 months prior to screening.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cannot have previously been involved in itepekimab study.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Known hypersensitivity to this drug.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cannot be currently on any other mAb therapies within 5 half-lives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Known or suspected continued abuse of alcohol or drugs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Itepekimab for COPD exacerbations exclusion<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_lmt_disableupdate":"","_lmt_disable":"","_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-3171","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/hfhpulm.com\/info\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages\/3171","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/hfhpulm.com\/info\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/hfhpulm.com\/info\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/hfhpulm.com\/info\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/hfhpulm.com\/info\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=3171"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/hfhpulm.com\/info\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages\/3171\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":3173,"href":"https:\/\/hfhpulm.com\/info\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages\/3171\/revisions\/3173"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/hfhpulm.com\/info\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=3171"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
