If the MICU reaches capacity (68 total patients \u2013 20 on Green, 16 on Red, White and Blue), the fellow will notify Dr. Swiderek from 7am-7pm or the night intensivist from 7pm-7am if we cap.<\/p>\n

  1. ATMO at 313-916-2987 \u2013 press 1 for beds; press 1 for Detroit; let them know the MICU is capped<\/li>\n
  2. P4 (SICU) Charge RN 313-9160547 to let them know MICU is capped.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    After this, the MICU fellow will continue to accept patients and our MICU charge nurse will work with the\u00a0SICU charge nurse to admit these patients to P4 under\u00a0the SICU team as primary service.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
