{"id":1432,"date":"2019-12-05T11:22:32","date_gmt":"2019-12-05T11:22:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hfhpulm.com\/info\/?p=1432"},"modified":"2019-12-05T16:22:30","modified_gmt":"2019-12-05T16:22:30","slug":"e-consults","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hfhpulm.com\/info\/?p=1432","title":{"rendered":"E-consults"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>UPDATE with new TIP Sheet.<\/p>\n<p>E-consults has gone live in the pulmonary division via Epic.\u00a0 Here is the attached\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/hfhpulm.com\/info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/E-Consults-Tip-Sheet-v121.pdf\">E-Consults Tip Sheet v12> Tip Sheet<\/a> to both generate and respond to an e-consult<\/p>\n<p>Important things to note:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5 business day specialty turnaround time (or better); <strong>this should be handled by the assigned checker on the date\/time the e-consult was placed<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Consulting specialist must click EConsult button and create EConsult encounter<\/li>\n<li>Consulting specialist must use dot\/smart phrase (.econsult) and select a EConsult disposition for all EConsults<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Patient In Person Follow-Up Required:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If a potential e-consult is deferred because on review the patient should be seen in person, the e-consult recipient (specialty\/EConsult Pool) should help facilitate the appointment.<\/li>\n<li>If an e-consult details \u201cnext steps\u201d (tests, labs, treatment), and the patient should be seen by the e-consult recipient regardless of outcome, the recipient (specialty\/EConsult Pool) should help facilitate the appointment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UPDATE with new TIP Sheet.
