{"id":1913,"date":"2020-06-10T19:34:14","date_gmt":"2020-06-10T19:34:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hfhpulm.com\/info\/?p=1913"},"modified":"2020-06-12T15:03:43","modified_gmt":"2020-06-12T15:03:43","slug":"update-covid-telephone-em-codes-physicians-apps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hfhpulm.com\/info\/?p=1913","title":{"rendered":"Update to COVID telephone E&#038;M codes for physicians and APPs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As many insurance companies now allow telephone E&amp;M codes to be billed as office visits, Epic code choices will be will be updated on Monday 6\/15 to reflect the change.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An expanded code set will be available in the LOS options in Epic:\n<ul>\n<li>New Patients Telephone Visits: 9NTP1-5.<\/li>\n<li>Established Patients Telephone Visits: 9ETP2-5.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Coding guidelines to choose these codes will mirror those of video visits.
