Patient will be sent a contract to review and bring to next visit.<\/li>\n<li>If contract in place, ok to refill short-term until primary pulmonary returns.<\/li>\n<li>Goal is for all patients receiving narcotic scripts through pulmonary will have a contract on file.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>(Once we figure out MAPS:\u00a0\u00a0 If contract is in place and patient is unfamiliar to provider \u2013 MAPS to be run on the patient and documented in the chart by nursing. \u00a0 If MAPS shows discrepancies in filling (multiple providers or multiple pharmacies) and patient is on contract, primary pulm or covering pulm will notify patient of violation of contract and inability to fill script.
