Procedure to upload outside images to Epic without having to take disk to Image Upload Station at HFH-Detroit (1st Floor) or HFH-West Bloomfield (Medical records)
1. Put the disc in the CD drive.
2. Navigate to http://lifeimage.hfhs.org in Internet Explorer.
3. Change the Domain to HFHS and enter your Henry Ford login.
4. Click Upload Exams in the top-left corner and then Find Exams on CD/DVD.
5. Check all the exams you want to upload, then hit Next.
6. Select each exam individually and click PACS in the top-middle of the screen.
7. Change the priority to STAT and for the “Staff Code”, just put the attending’s name. Hit Nominate Exam. Repeat for each study.
8. The images should be in PACS within an hour, and this way you never have to give the disc away.
