Rotations for the fellows will be on a TWO-WEEK period (instead of 4 weeks as it has been until now).
Fellows will go through this rotation as follow: 1st and 2nd year fellows (2 two-week rotations per year); 3rd year fellows (1 two-week rotation per year)
– Fellows and Faculty need to be familiar with the Daily Didactic activities, K17 Pulmonary Curriculum and the Weekly Schedule (attached) BEFORE they start their rotations.
– When 2 fellows are scheduled at the same time. The scheduled has been created to align fellows of the same year and the same rotation, so that the “Daily Didactic Activities” will be the same for both
PFT revision and teaching will occur:
With the assigned K17 Outpatient staff from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm
In the AM with the assigned K17 Outpatient staff on the days that the PFT fellow has satellite clinic in the afternoon
Fridays with Dr. Lazar; if Dr. Lazar is on vacation, PFTs will need to be read with the assigned K17 Outpatient staff in the AM
