Doximity Dialer is an optional application that is in use for providers and staff who are calling patients and want to provide a standard Caller ID showing a Henry Ford Health phone number and also as a back-up platform for video visits when experiencing technical issues with Epic Video Client.
NOW LIVE: After a Doximity Dialer Voice call, clinicians have the option to allow the patients to securely call them back within a 1-hour window via a proxy line that will forward the call to their device. Steps have been added to the Scheduled Telephone E&M Encounter tip sheet
1: At the end of your Dialer Voice call, select “Allow 1-Hour Callback.”
2: The patient will receive a text notifying them that they can call you back via a proxy line for the next hour.
3: If the patient calls the proxy line after the 1-hour callback window, their call will be forwarded to the caller ID used to place your call.
