Here is an instruction sheet on how to sign special studies in Epic.
When you are the PFT reader, every provider will need to click on individual study to determine whether it is a PFT or special study; there is no way to currently distinguish between the two without looking directly.
PFTs need to be signed only; special studies will need an attestation.
PLEASE DO NOT BATCH SIGN THESE DOCUMENTS WHEN YOU ARE THE PFT READER
Failure to do this properly will reduce the amount of reimbursement and RVUs that we receive from work we are doing.
