Office #232 (directly across from the bathroom) is available to use, in the 2nd floor clinic space.
The CSR’s can show you to office 232, however, your Henry Ford ID badge should allow you access into the clinic hallway. The badge reader is located at the clinic entry door just past the registration desk.
Most days Melissa VanZant will also be in the building and would also be happy to show you around when you arrive.
Rehabilitation staff should either page you to the rehab area via an overhead page or by coming to that office if medical assistance is needed.
If there is an overhead page for a Nurse Alert or Medical Alert, it would be good for you to respond as well. This is a very rare occurrence.
Cardiac Rehabilitation and Pulmonary Rehabilitation are both required by CMS to have a physician in the building at all times when conducting their monitored exercise programs. The Mondays and Wednesdays when coverage is needed by a Pulmonary Sr. Staff, their presence in the building keeps us in compliance with CMS regulations for Cardiac Rehab and Pulmonary Rehab. It is not entirely for Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing, although physician supervision is required for that as well.
Cardiac Rehab and Pulmonary Rehab hours run from 8a-5p Monday – Friday.
Cardiac cardiopulmonary exercise testing also runs within those hours as well.
