In order to create consistency for patients admitted to the Garden ICU at West Bloomfield with a stroke, the Stroke Committee has created guidelines for these admissions.
These guidelines are designed to be followed directly; if there is a deviation, this should be discussed with neurology (stroke team) or neurosurgery and the reason for deviation should be documented in the EMR.
