Team Assignments:
1st half of the month: Senior Staff rounds with Team A, Fellow rounds with Team B
2nd half of the month: Fellow switches to round with Team A, Senior Staff rounds with Team B
AM Rounds:
- Senior Staff and Fellow round separately with their assigned resident teams
- Senior Staff then rounds with the fellow at anytime after completion of resident rounds (needs to occur before the fellow leaves for weekly pm clinic)
- Senior Staff signs the residents’ notes for both teams
Afternoons:
M-Th ~2-3 pm: Resident teaching sessions, staff new patients, relevant followup
Fri: Staff/Fellow attend divisional educational conference, residents scheduled to do PFTs (K17) throughout the month
The senior staff will not have afternoon assignments so will be available throughout the day.
