- Friday 12:30 to 3pm – pm checker
- Eligible patients: General return or new pulmonary patients who ‘No Show’ to 2 consecutive visits (resets if hospitalized, is seen in the add-on clinic), missed appointments for hospitalizations or cancellations do NOT count
- Process:
- Patients who have ‘No showed’ twice in a row (new or return) , will not be given a scheduled appointment on K17.
- CC or RPO will let the patient know about ‘no show’ policy when the patient calls to schedule an appointment (after 1 no show or when trying to schedule an appointment after 2 consecutive no shows.
- PFTs will be performed per ‘new patient protocol’ or as ordered during past visit
- Patients are seen on a first-come, first-serve basis. Limit of 6 patients seen. Patient needs to arrive before the end of clinic hours (3pm). MD is called when a patient arrives.
- Nursing will meet with each patient to facilitate referrals to financial services, social work, etc (identify any barriers to access)
- On checkout patient is scheduled with their original provider (staff that day picks up any new patients). Asthma or COPD can also be scheduled with Shannon Neumann, NP for follow-up
