If patient is already scheduled, click the encounter.
Under notes use the phrase .virtualphonecheckin
If you are initiating a visit that is not on the schedule, create a new encounter and for encounter type put: covid (or “virtual Phone Checkin (covid)”)

VIDEO VISITS
During the COVIS-19 Crisis ONLY, providers licensed in MI can also see patients located in the following states – based on information as of 4/15/2020:
Florida, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota (Behavioral Health Services only), Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming
If a patient is physically located in a state not listed, providers should NOT see that patient for the visit as they are not licensed in that state.
