Daytime for yellow:
- Both POD 1&2 fellows will be assigned one POD 3 patient each as primary. The role will consist of note writing and primary management during the day until signout to the yellow staff.
- Both POD 1&2 rounding staff will also be assigned one POD 3 patient as primary. This will also consist of note writing and primary management during the day until signout to yellow staff.
- Weekend notes will be done by the Yellow staff, but cross coverage and management issues that come up in the morning will be done by the POD 1&2 teams.
Yellow Swing (2 pm to 7pm)
Role: cross cover the 4 patients on Yellow and cross cover Green from 5-7 on days when no PA.
- provides backup to hospitalist
- covers Green when no APP is on 5-7 pm
Nocturnist (overnight)
- Covers yellow
